Denman’s 7.92-pounder wins Tom Dehoney Big Bass tournament

Tim Denman and his 7.92-pound bass won the 2019 Annual Tom Dehoney Memorial Big Bass Tournament. The event was held Saturday, May 18, at Lake Columbia. It coincides each year with the Blossom Festival.

Eric Morrison placed second overall with his 6.92-pound bass.

For his big catch – which was caught in the second-to-last hour of the tournament – Denman took home $1,000 and an Otterbox Trooper LT 30 Cooler. The company sponsored this year’s tournament and provided Trooper 20 coolers to each of the hourly winners. The hourly big bass angler’s also received $150.

8 a.m. hour: Phillip Jackson – 4.92 pounds

9 a.m hour: Eric Morrison – 6.92 pounds

10 a.m. hour: Bryer Pennington – 5.50 pounds

11 a.m. hour: Chad Harlon – 5.51 pounds

12 p.m. hour: Joseph Waters – 5.67 pounds

1 p.m. hour: Tim Denman – 7.92 pounds

2 p.m. hour: John Sanner – 6.01 pounds
