To complement Saturday’s championship steak cooking team Delta Waterfowl of Magnolia, numerous other local teams took home prizes in non-cooking categories as part of 2019’s Blossom Festival.

The parade title went to the People’s Bank team of Home Town Grillers. They were awarded a trophy, a $500 check, and a cooler for the win.

In a brief victory speech Saturday night, bank president Jamie Waller gave all the praise to his parade companions.

“I want to give a shout out to Kathy’s Dance Arts Studio for their amazing abilities and talents,” he said. “We would not have won this without them.”
