Volunteers Frank Selman (top left) and Ricky Dennis (top right), work Wednesday morning to clear and clean a lot next to N. Washington Street's Rushton Clinic in preparation of the May 18 Blossom Festival Canine Fun Show.

The show is open to anyone and their favorite dog. Registration opens Saturday morning at 7 a.m., or an hour before the show begins. The fee is $7 per entry. Ribbons will be issued to winners.

Donations of dog food will also appreciated.
