30th annual Blossom Festival schedule of events

The Magnolia Blossom Festival begins Friday, May 17, in downtown Magnolia and continues through Saturday, May 18, with the World Championship Steak Cook-Off and awards show. Art will be on display at the 69th Annual Art Show beginning May 15.

The event schedule is as follows:

WEDNESDAY

Noon-7 p.m., Magnolia Arts opens, final day to enter artwork

THURSDAY

Noon-7 p.m., 69th Annual Art Show opens to the public at Magnolia Arts

FRIDAY

10 a.m.-5 p.m., Arkansas Artmobile opens in front of Magnolia Arts, 116 S. Washington

Noon, food court opens, craft show begins

Noon-7 p.m., 69th Annual Art Show opens to public at Magnolia Arts

4-7 p.m. Magnolia Arts Annual Art Show Artist Reception, open to the public

6:30 p.m., free concert featuring Mae Estes at Square Park Stage

8 p.m., free concert featuring Epic Unplugged at Square Park Stage

SATURDAY

Safe light-2 p.m., Tom Dehoney Fishing Tournament Lake Columbia

7 a.m.-7 p.m., information booth

7 a.m., registration begins for Canine Fun Show

7:30 a.m., 5K Race and Walk/Fun Run immediately following 5K, approximately 8:30 a.m.

8 a.m., Canine Fun Show, north of Wilson Garden

8-10 a.m., Jet Boat Show free registration (113 N. Pine)

9-11 a.m., live entertainment at Square Park stage

9 a.m.-til, crafts show and food court

9 a.m.-2 p.m., car show, Farmers Bank parking lot (200 E. Main Street); Jet Boat Show

9 a.m.-3 p.m., 69th Magnolia Arts Annual Art Show, inside Magnolia Arts Center (116 S. Washington)

10 a.m.-5 p.m., Arkansas Art Mobile, in front of Magnolia Arts

10 a.m., parade of cookers

11 a.m., Tommy Terrific magic show, Magnolia Arts Center

12:30 p.m., Baggo Tournament registration

1 p.m., Baggo Tournament begins

1 p.m., Tommy Terrific Magic Show, Magnolia Arts Center

2-3p.m., art pickup at Magnolia Arts

6 p.m., Steak Cook-Off serving lines open

7 p.m., Cook teams walk the red carpet at Square Park

7:30 p.m., Steak Cook-off awards ceremony, Square Park stage

*Fireworks show will immediately follow the steak awards ceremony
