Rebecca Kimbell, 65, of Magnolia, AR passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her residence.
Rebecca was born December 10, 1953 in Magnolia. She graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 2006 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Social Work and was inducted into the Honor Society in 2004.
Rebecca was employed at the Ouachita Health and Rehabilitation Center in Camden where she enjoyed her workplace, staff, and residents. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Edwin Jones and Sylvia Ann (Hooks) Wallace; husband Richard Kimbell; daughter Veronica Widhelm; brother Lewis Paul Jones; and step father Jess Wallace. She was survived by her son Thelton “T.J.” Hooks of Springhill, LA; grandson Jacob Hooks of Springhill; brother Michael Jones and wife Karen of Magnolia; grandmother Louise Hooks of Magnolia; nieces Ashley Jones, Rachael Harrell and husband Hunter, and Julia Lopez and husband Andres of Magnolia; nephews Ray Tilley, Jr. and wife Cassie and Ben Tilley of Texarkana, TX; great niece Hayden Cook of Magnolia; great nephew Zachary Matthews of Magnolia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with a funeral service to following at 11 a.m. with Dr. Corbet Lamkin officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Thelton Hooks, Michael Huffman, Lance Davenport, Ray Tilley, Hunter Harrell, and Michael Jones.
