FAYETTEVILLE -- A high-speed pursuit ended Wednesday night with a stolen vehicle crashing into the Golden Corral north of the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

A Springdale police officer was patrolling on foot about 8:10 p.m. near Motel 8 at 1206 S. Thompson, according to a news release.

The officer approached a silver Mazda 6 in the parking lot when the car pulled forward and fled the parking lot south-bound on Thompson.

The officer pursued the car at a high speed until the Mazda lost control and crashed into the side of the restaurant at 4507 N. College Ave.

The occupants of the vehicle fled after the crash, according to the release.

Two individuals, Jesus Garcia-Lara and a 15-year-old male, were arrested on the scene.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Naomi Milne, 20.

Alexandria Pound, 20, and another 15-year-old male were also reported to be in the vehicle. Pound was arrested about 3:20 a.m. today in the Johnson area.

Milne and the 15-year-old male had not been found as of midmorning today.

The vehicle was reported stolen in Bentonville, according to the release.
