Magnolia (4-2) defeated Taylor 15-5 in the annual spring break tournament Thursday and will take on Marion at 7 p.m. this evening. The Panthers got 14 hits against the Tigers. Kevin Zhao and Payton Campbell had three apiece, with one of Campbell's hit a double. Connor Harrington and Kyle Carver each had a double and single, with Dayton Dickson getting two singles. Adam Pieratt and Halen Sanders had one hit each.
Adam Pieratt started got the win on the mound, striking out six batters in three innings of work. Tanner Nielsen and Brantley Cox also pitched an inning apiece.
