A Ouachita County driver was killed early Friday in a single-car accident along Hwy. 79 South in the Buena Vista community near Stephens.
According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary crash report, 20-year-old Keyshawn Ware of Bearden at 3:17 a.m. Friday was driving northbound on U.S. Hwy. 79 when his 2012 Chevy Silverado crossed the center line and onto the southbound roadside, striking two trees. Buena Vista is located approximately 10 miles northeast of Stephens along Hwy. 79.
Ware was taken to the Ouachita County Medical Center, the report said.
The road conditions were dry and the weather clear, according to the crash summary. ASP Trooper John Parker was the investigating officer.
