Benefit bike ride set for Saturday

Pedals for Compassion, a charity bike ride event around Columbia County, is set to take place Saturday, June 22.

The benefit ride will aid the Compassion's Foundation in Magnolia that supports the local domestic violence shelter.

ROUTES

There will have four different length routes to choose from; 100k, 35 Miles, 15 Miles, or the 5 Mile Family Fun Ride!

Family Fun Ride: 5-Mile:

$35 registration fee with kids 12 and under Ride FREE! Must have one registered adult and must wear helmets.

EVENT DETAILS

Pre-Event Breakfast starts at 6 am @ Central Baptist Church followed by ride starting at 7:30 am at the Square Park!

Online registration has closed, but on-site registration begins at 6am at the breakfast -- cash or check only and $50 for route 15, 35 and 100k. $35 for the Family Fun Ride.

Pre-Packet pickup, begins Friday, June 21, 2-9 p.m. at the Central Hub on the Magnolia Square.

Sag support will be on the routes. There will be plenty of fully stocked rest stops and several water stations in-between to help keep you fueled 'til the end!

Finish/Start line activities will begin shortly after the ride start, at the Square Park, where there will be food, door prizes, music and finisher medals, etc.

-MK Distributors will provide drinks

-First 150 Riders signed up are guaranteed event shirts!
