Methodist Family Health has hired Michelle G. Davis, M.S., L.P.C. for its Magnolia Counseling Clinic as the clinic’s newest therapist. Davis is currently accepting patients and may be reached at 621 E. North St. or by calling 870-234-0739.

Davis completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Texas A&M University in Texarkana where she also taught undergraduate classes in psychology as well as counseling services courses. With more than 20 years of experience across a variety of settings — including outpatient community care clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and nonprofit organizations — Davis can provide individual, family and group therapy as well as therapeutic services for patients with depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma and abuse, family and relationship issues, self-image and self-esteem issues, complicated grief reactions, anger and stress management, and behavioral and discipline challenges.

Methodist Family Health has locations throughout the state, including the Methodist Behavioral Hospital, two residential treatment centers, eight therapeutic group homes, an emergency shelter, a day treatment program, eight counseling clinics, nine school-based counseling clinics, a grief center for children and their families, and the Arkansas Center for Addictions Research, Education and Services (Arkansas CARES).
