Magnolia Fire Department Chief Greg Pinner (left) talks Wednesday with fellow LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) members about planning an upcoming emergency drill in Columbia County. The drill is in the preliminary stages, but will most likely be a “table top” maneuver, meaning it will be more relaxed and informative, rather than a full-speed “live” drill. The mock disaster will more than likely concern a chemical crisis situation, according to LEPC and take place in the summer.
