SAU men’s basketball head coach Andy Sharpe has announced that the seventh annual Sharpe Shooter Basketball Camp will take place Monday through Thursday inside the W.T. Watson Center on the SAU campus.

The four-day camp is for any and all athletes entering grades kindergarten through 12, and will focus on the fundamentals of the game such as shooting, passing, ball handling, dribbling, rebounding, and defensive skills. Campers will be separated based on skill level as well as age.

Additionally, eight-foot basketball goals will be used for younger campers.

The camp begins at 9 a.m. and runs to noon each day, Monday through Thursday. Cost is $100 per camper. Athletes can register Monday prior to the start of the camp. A daily concession stand will be also be provided.

The Sharpe Shooter Basketball Camp is dedicated to providing an environment of skill instruction where campers may improve individually as basketball players and have fun. The goal is to provide campers with basketball knowledge and drills they may take home with them so they may continue to improve as a player.
