David and Beth Johnson of DeQueen, AR announce the engagement of their daughter, Melisa Ann Johnson to Eric William Rogers son of Andy and Tamie Rogers of Magnolia, AR.

The wedding will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 29 at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Magnolia. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joyce Johnson of DeQueen, AR and the late Conrad J. and Shirley R. Higgins of Eugene, OR. Melisa is a 2014 graduate of DeQueen High School and a 2018 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science: Animation Design and Computer Gaming, and a Bachelor’s degree of Mathematics. She is employed at Asteri in Shreveport, LA.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Gene and Charlotte Hudman of Magnolia, and Leona Rogers of Magnolia and the late Billy J. Rogers. Eric is a 2015 graduate of Columbia Christian School in Magnolia and a 2019 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science. He is employed by Asteri in Shreveport, LA.
