Mattie Lee Williams, age 95, of 601 Rabb St, Magnolia died Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in Magnolia. Mrs. Williams was born June 13, 1923 in Magnolia, AR. She is the daughter of the late Willie and the late Pinkie (Threadgill) Davis. She married the late Willie A. “Son” Williams.
Preceded in death by her husband, and three of her seven children, Bobby Joe Wheeler, Dorothy Flowers, and Patsy Ruth Collins, she is survived by two daughters: Beatrice Smith of McNeil and Diane Chappel, of Magnolia and two sons: Willie Williams of Waldo and Craig Williams, of Fayetteville, NC, and a great host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 at Free Union Missionary Baptist Church, 2015 S Washington, Magnolia, AR with Min. Ray Barrow officiating. Pastor Billy Williams will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Kings Hill Cemetery, Magnolia under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.
