Southern Arkansas University Lady Mulerider softball will be holding a three-day “Junior Mulerider” Camp on Monday, June 17, through Wednesday, June 19, at the Dr. Margaret Downing Softball Complex. The camp is open to young softball players kindergarten through 6th grade who want to improve their basic skills. The three-day camp will cover all skills of softball such as throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, bunting, base running, and an introduction into pitching and catching from the SAU softball coaching staff. Camp participants should bring cleats, glove, batting gloves, bat, helmet, catching gear, and sliders. It is also recommended that all participants wear ball pants each day. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. each day and the camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday. Cost is $100 per camper.
