A Saturday night shooting has left one person in the hospital as authorities investigate the incident.
Details are limited, but, according to a Magnolia Police Department news release, officers around 9 p.m. on July 20 were dispatched to North Madison Street in Magnolia in reference to “shots fired.”
Police say that, during the on-scene investigation, one individual was transported to the Magnolia Regional Medical Center Emergency Room with non-life-threatening injuries.
“At this time, the names of the suspect and the victim are not being released,” the statement said, “And the investigation is ongoing.”
