May, June building permits total $685,000 in Magnolia

The city of Magnolia in May and June issued building permits totaling $685,155, according to City Inspector David Nelson’s office. May saw $450,400 in permits, while June saw $234,750.

The largest projects included six-figure remodel jobs for the upcoming Jimmy John’s restaurant along Hwy. 79 near Walmart and Wade’s Burgers and Fries along E. Main Street. Health Quest on Main Street was also permitted for an $80,000 remodel.

Clem Saenz, 213 W. Main, remodel, $4,000, May 28.
