1 dead, 4 hurt after gun fires at Little Rock ice cream shop

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Police in Little Rock say one person was killed and four others wounded during a scuffle over in a gun inside an ice cream shop.

Little Rock police say a 911 caller reported the shooting shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday at La Michoacana, an ice cream shop in southwest Little Rock. Police say two men were fighting over a gun when it fired.

Little Rock police say one of those men was struck by gunfire and killed, while the other man is in critical condition. Police say two bystanders were each shot in the leg and another person was grazed by a bullet.

Police say they’re still investigating what led to the altercation and whether the two men fighting over the gun knew each other.
