Billy Lee Staggs, 82, of Waldo, AR passed away Friday, February 15, 2018 at the Waterton Plaza Nursing Home in Texarkana, TX.
Billy was born on September 9, 1936 in Stephens, AR to the late Lee Emmanuel and Willie (Parker) Staggs. He worked for the Shreveport Times, Houston Chronicles, and retired from Ashford Printing in Houston. As a child he grew up at Shiloh Lamartine and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed his ATV and scooter.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; step mother Geneva Staggs; and sister and brother-in-law Mary and Lynn Guest. He is survived by his sisters, Sherry Johnson and husband Jackie of Waldo, AR and Carolyn Comer and husband Jack of Gladewater, TX; niece Mary Lynn Williams and husband Gary of Magnolia, AR; and a host of extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends.
