CLEARWATER, Fla. – The second-ranked SAU Lady Muleriders (6-2) ended their time in Florida with a 3-2 record as a part of the NFCA Leadoff Classic.

They capped it Saturday with a 13-1 rout of fifth-ranked Saint Leo. The Lady Muleriders, after dropping their first two games in the Sunshine State, won their final three games by a combined score of 22-1.

SAU collected 11 hits as seven of the nine Lady Muleriders in the lineup tallied at least one hit and every player reached base at least once.

In the circle, Victoria Taylor struck out seven batters over four innings of work. She only allowed one hit, one run and two hit batters. She was relieved for the fifth and final inning by Brooke Ford-Nelson.

The Lady Muleriders will play in the UAM Division II Softball Classic this weekend in Bentonville, where they will play a pair of doubleheaders against in-region competition.
