Four SAU Muleriders scored in double figures Saturday afternoon as they held off Arkansas Tech 78-75.
CJ Elkins and Jalen Brooks both scoring 18 point apiece, while DeVante Brooks finished with 16 and Gabe Gilliam added 14. DeVante also grabbed 11 rebounds.
The Muleriders (17-5, 12-4 GAC) currently sit in second place in the league and will return to action at home Thursday against Arkansas-Monticello. Ariana Guinn finished with 11, while Jerica Bell added 10.
Tamera Shaver had 13 points for the Lady Muleriders (2-20, 1-15 GAC), but it wasn’t enough as SAU fell 85-60 to the Golden Sun.
SAU will host the UAM Cotton Blossoms at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
