The Magnolia Junior High School (MJHS) Quiz Bowl team recently competed the 5A South Regional Tournament. The team’s overall record was 5-0 with an average of 401 points per game. The team qualified to compete at state tournament later this month.
Three members of the MJHS team also qualified for All-Tournament with an average of 5 points or better per game. The All-Tournament members are Troi Kacsir, Samuel Trout, and Chris Dai. Chris Dai was also named the tournament MVP with an average of 9 points a game.
