MHS Choir students receive All-State honors

On Friday, February 1, Magnolia High School choir students competed in Conway for placement in the 2019 Arkansas All-State Honor Choirs. Eight MHS students earned placement in the All-State Honors Choir and will travel to Hot Springs on February 13-16 to participate in the 2019 Arkansas All-State Music Conference. Clinicians include Dr. Andre Thomas, President-Elect of the American Choral Director’s Association (Florida State University, Tallahassee); Grammy Educator Finalist Dr. Jeffery Redding (West Orange High School, Winter Garden, Florida); and Dr. Patrick Gardner (Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey).
