Melvin Johnson, 74, of Mineral Springs, AR died Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at St. Michael Hospital.
He was born June 11, 1945 to Charles Henry Johnson and Maple Devora Keel in Yancy, AR. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle.
He is survived by son Terrance Johnson of Lancaster, TX; one daughter, Cheryl Williams of Mineral Springs, AR; two sisters Devorah Miller and Katie Alexander of Mineral Springs, AR, one brother Robert (Sabrina) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services at Cornith Baptist Church in Tollette, AR at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019 with Rev. Maurice Henry, Sr. officiating. Burial at Crofton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
The body will lie in state from noon until 1 p.m. at the church.
