Doug Dickson, 49, of Waldo, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at his home.
He was born on December 6, 1969, in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was an avid outdoorsman where he loved hunting, fishing, and cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dayton Edward Dickson.
Doug is survived by his wife, Melissa Dickson; two children, Dayton Dickson and McKinsey Dickson; mother Deanie Dickson all of Waldo, Arkansas; father and mother in law, Mike and Jan Rogers of Miramar Beach, Florida; sister Debbie Harvey of Waldo; sister and brother in law Michelle and Adam Arrington and their children, Katherine and Abigail Arrington; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Rugged Cross Cowboy Church in Magnolia with Wayne Tompkins and Mike Launius officiating.
Visitation with the family will be Monday evening at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to CCAPS, PO Box 2003, Magnolia, Arkansas 71754.
Pallbearers will be Mark Braswell, David Greer, David Braswell, Reese Lewis, David Tatom, Scott Clark, John Van, Coby Burrow, and Mark Mendenhall.
