GREEN BAY, Wis. - Texans undrafted rookie running back Damarea Crockett took a positive step forward in his bid to earn a roster spot.

Crockett bulled his way into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown run in his first NFL game.

The 5-11, 225-pounder from Missouri broke through an arm tackle attempt by nose tackle Tyler Lancaster, ripping through him with outstanding second effort for the score.

In the first half, Crockett rushed for 24 yards on six carries in relief of Taiwan Jones. Jones rushed for 28 yards, but also lost a fumble.
