Samuel Harold Eads, 81, of Magnolia, AR died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the North Little Rock Veterans Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.
Harold was born January 1, 1938 in Village, AR to the late Percy and Bessie Lee (Beevers) Eads. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from military service in 1977. While in active duty service he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Silver Star.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Gary Winston Eads, Percy Gaylord JR Eads, and Jimmy Morgan Eads. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years Josie Eads of Magnolia; son Paul David Eads of the Bahamas, daughter Micheala Espey of Germany, one grandson, three granddaughters, four nephews, three nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.
A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, AR. Interment of ashes will be in the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington County, VA.
The family requests memorial contributions are made to a Veterans charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
