THURSDAY - Apr. 25

First Presbyterian Church of Magnolia will conduct its annual barbecue brisket lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 and include a chopped beef brisket sandwich, chips, coleslaw and dessert. Local delivery is free on orders of five or more to the same address. Call 234-2601 to order tickets by noon Wednesday, April 24. Tickets are also available from church members. Meals may be picked up in the church parking lot at 1417 N. Jackson. Dine-in is also available. Proceeds benefit the church’s mission in Nkom, Cameroon, with a special emphasis this year on school and medical clinic supplies.

Ninth appreciation service for first lady, Sister La Tanya Ford is at 6 p.m. at Mount Tabor Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.

SUNDAY - Apr. 28

Usher program at the Charity Baptist Church in Fulton, AR at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker is Dr. James F. Williams and the Fellowship Baptist Church of Stamps, AR.

Ninth anniversary celebration for Rev. Donnell and first lady La Tanya Ford is at 3 p.m. at Mount Tabor Baptist Church. Guest pastor and church is Rev. Roderick Rogers and Fordyce Community Baptist Church of Fordyce, AR.

The Columbia District Baptist Association Laymen will “Christian Love and Fellowship” at 3 p.m. The event will be held at First Baptist Church-Calhoun Heights. Speakers will be Reggie Green, Mt. Zion; Kevin Sears, Mt. Superior; Andrew Reed, New Zion; Mitch Madison, St. John; and Donald Mallory, Antioch. Columbia District President Don Moore invites all to attend.

SATURDAY - May 4

Homes Near Baptist Church is having a youth hot dog fundraiser at Atwoods from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Hot dogs, chips, drink and dessert for $5 to support the youth.
