Easter Services at Mount Vernon Church will be held at 8 a.m. Breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall after the service. Sunday School and the evening service will be dismissed.
The Mount Vernon Church family will be honoring Brandon Drake on Sunday, April 28. Brandon is the grandson of James and Jean Drake and he will be graduating from SAU on May 3. Brandon has attended Mount Vernon Church while he has been a student at SAU. We will be celebrating his time with us and his graduation with a fellowship lunch after the service.
Bro Brent Summerhill, senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Magnolia will be preaching at Mount Vernon Church on Sunday, May 5 at 6 p.m. Hamburgers will be served after the Service. Everyone is invited to come.
