Mr. James Jamerson, 74, passed away Thursday, April 4 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1945 to Jonah Jamerson and Pearline Lewis in Magnolia, AR.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His loving wife Marilyn Jamerson of 29 yrs., three brothers John Lee Hawthorne of Magnolia, AR, Levi Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Don Nero of Dallas, TX, one sister Leslie Jamerson of San Francisco, CA. Two daughters, Lora Jamerson of Magnolia, AR and Taanya Plummer of Tacoma, WA; Four sons, David Jamerson (Barbara) of Magnolia, AR, Johnathan Jamerson (De) of Bossier City, LA., Anthony Dowell of Seattle, WA. and Ken Jamerson (Debra) of Magnolia, AR; Ten grandchildren, Shamekia Hunter, Damon Hanson, Lesley Cooper, LeAnn Cooper, Katherine Henderson, Joy Jamerson-Davis, Jhakobi Jamerson, Briliante Dowell, Arrielle Steward and Christopher Jamerson, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be held Friday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR, with burial with to follow, military honors, at Kings Hill Cemetery in Magnolia, AR, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral LLC of Magnolia, AR. Officiating will be Rev. Dwayne Thompson
Visitation will be held Thursday 12 - 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home
