WEDNESDAY - Apr. 3

Magnolia Friends of Scouting will hold a luncheon at noon in Story Barn. The event is a public fundraiser for the DeSoto Area Council. It is expected to be attended by SAU President Dr. Trey Berry and local officials, according to a BSA rep.

THURSDAY - Apr. 4

LifeShare Blood Center is having a community blood drive at Southern Arkansas University, Reynolds Center parking lot, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

FRIDAY - Apr. 5

Village Community Center will have their annual fish fry from 5 - 7 p.m. with all-you-can-eat for $15.

MONDAY - Apr. 8

The City of Waldo will have its regularly scheduled council meeting at 6 p.m. at the Waldo City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.

TUESDAY - Apr. 9

The regular monthly meeting of the Southwest Arkansas Bluegrass Association will be held at 7 p.m. in the Bethel Fellowship Hall of the Bethel Church, 131 Bethel Road in Magnolia, AR. Pickers, singers, and listeners of acoustic bluegrass music are welcome to come and participate and there is no admission charge. For more information, call 870-904-2817.

Lydesdale Water Association will hold its quarterly board meeting at 7 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. All Lydesdale Water customers are invited to attend.

WEDNESDAY - Apr. 10

Harvest Regional Food Bank will distribute TEFAP USDA Commodities directly from their truck from 10 a.m. to noon. The truck will be parked at the C.W. Easter Recreation Center located at 902 E. McKissack St., Waldo, AR.

THURSDAY - Apr. 11

Magnolia High School Class of 1969 will have its 50-year reunion planning meeting at 4 p.m. in the Partee Room at Bancorp South.

FRIDAY - Apr. 12

Magnolia FFA is hosting an auction at 6 p.m. at the Magnolia Jr. High cafeteria, 540 E North St, Magnolia, AR. No ticket is needed for entry to the auction, however a hamburger meal will be served for $5 before the auction at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Magnolia FFA directly.

LifeShare Blood Center is having a community blood drive at McNeil Festival on The Rails, 106 Olive Street, McNeil, AR from 12 - 6 p.m.
