Renée Bailey voted Magnolia School District Teacher of the Year

Renée Bailey was recently selected through a district-wide election process as the 2018 Magnolia School District Teacher of the Year. Renée is a fourth grade Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher at Central Elementary School. A lifelong resident of Magnolia, she attended Magnolia Public Schools, graduated from Magnolia High School, and earned her BSE from Southern Arkansas University.

Mrs. Bailey began her career teaching third and fourth grades at Willisville School. After joining the faculty of Magnolia’s Central Elementary School, she taught Title I Reading and sixth grade before moving to fourth grade, where she has been since 1988. She is currently in her 34th year of teaching.

Mrs. Bailey enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She will now represent the Magnolia School District in the Arkansas Teacher of the Year competition.
