HENRY COOPER

Henry Lee “Hank” Cooper, 75, of Magnolia passed away Sunday, April 30, at Wentworth Place.

He was born October 5, 1941, in Magnolia to Jonah Cooper and Eula Beal-Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, James Earl Cooper and Victor Cooper; sisters, Mattie Faye Wyrick, Rosie Lee Lewis, and Virginia Tubbs; brothers, Jonah Cooper Jr., Terry, Donnie Ray, and Larry Jones Cooper; and grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, James and Henry Cooper of Magnolia, and Lashunn Hunter of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Vanessa Cooper and Lee Ann Fordham of Texarkana, Texas, Mattie Cooper and Nichole Moss of Magnolia, Barbara Wright, Lorraine Harper, Gloria, Henryetta, Tonya, Keyla, and Denise Cooper of Los Angeles, Tyrunya Cooper of Las Vegas, Cheryl Cooper of Little Rock, Deidra Forrest of Camden, Leslie Cooper Finley of Chicago, Ill., and Alicia Smith of Hope; brothers, J.B., John Paul, Gary, and Richard Cooper; sisters, Christine Rose, Eula Faye McDaniels, Fannie Barhams, Pearlie Mae Jenkins; and other family.

Services will be Saturday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at Columbia District Auditorium with burial to follow in the 23rd Psalms Cemetery in Magnolia under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Rev. Tony Smith will officiate.

Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 12-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
