Southern Arkansas Mulerider baseball program will conduct a Premier Prospect Camp on Thursday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field.
The showcase is for high school players who will graduate from 2018-2020 and will provide the opportunity for those wanting to play at the collegiate level to display their skills.
Cost is $150 per player and includes a SAU baseball shirt.
Each of the participants is responsible for bringing their own workout clothes and equipment. A one-hour lunch break will be from Noon-1 p.m. and campers will be responsible for their own lunch.
Instruction and evaluation will be provided by the SAU baseball staff. A facilities tour, campus tour, and NCAA eligibility discussion will be available for campers.
The deadline to enroll for the showcase is July 31 with a cutoff of 60 campers.
Required registration, liability and emergency consent forms can be found on-line at www.muleridersbaseballcamps.com.
The Mulerider baseball team recently won its fourth Great American Conference regular-season championship since 2012, and advanced to its ninth NCAA Regional Tournament in the last 10 years.
The Muleriders also extended their streak of winning 30 or more games in a season to 17.
