LEWIS JONES

Lewis Paul “Butch” Jones, 63, of Waldo, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado.

Butch was born on Nov. 19, 1951 in Magnolia and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edwin Jones; grandfathers Thelton P. Hooks and Louis H. Jones; grandmothers Vergie Mae Ciscell and Ruby Jones-Hinshaw; and brother in law Richard Kimbell.

Butch is survived by his mother Sylvia Wallace (Jess) of Magnolia; grandmother Louise Hooks of Magnolia; sister Rebecca Kimbell of Magnolia; brother Mike Jones (Karen) of Magnolia; step brother Steve Wallace (Carol) of Eaton, Col.; step sisters Nancy Richardson (Terry) of Plain Dealing, La., Teresa Holt (Charles) of Magnolia, Vickie Crawley (Curtis) of Irving, Texas, and Tammy Parrish (Alan) of Ark City, Kan.; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Chris O’Neal officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (st.jude.org) or to charity of donor’s choice.
