POLLY MCDANIEL

Polly McDaniel, 80, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. She has been a resident of Dallas, Ga., for 13 years. Polly was born Dec. 6, 1934 in Willisville.

She was a graduate of Waldo High School and the University of Arkansas, with a BA in business. Polly previously worked as the administrative assistant to the dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Campus in Little Rock. She was fond of Arkansas Razorbacks football and the Butterfly House at Calloway Gardens. Her pastimes included Bible study and decorative crafting.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jack McDaniel.

She is survived by two sons, J.D. “David” (Sharon) McDaniel and Tim (Carla) McDaniel; grandchildren, Drew Houston (Jeanie Howard), Nicole Houston (Rhett McVev), and Allison Houston Lester (Jesse Powell); great-grandchildren, Thomas and Abby; brother, Dr. Larry (Harriett) Franks and sister Peggy (Gerald) Wright; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
