Mariah Guevara, a senior at Magnolia High School, has been notified by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation that she has been named a Semifinalist in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Planning commission approves new cell tower

Still needs approval from city council

The Magnolia Planning Commission met Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, to discuss one new item of business. BRT Group, LLC requested permission to construct a new 195 foot tall monopole cell tower on the city owned property, behind the Hampton Inn, next to the Magnolia Water Tower.
