The Hydro of Magnolia, formerly known as Sapa, held their annual Health and Safety Day on Wednesday, August, 29, 2018. Outside of training sessions, Hydro employees also participated in a free-throw contest and a bean bag toss tournament. Andrew Word, Marketing Coordinator, says Safety Day is important to Hydro and its employees because “Hydro’s top priority is safety. Health & Safety Day brings together the entire Hydro Extrusion North America organization to focus on the safety and well-being of its employees.” As of August 26, 2018, Hydro Magnolia was recognized for completing 8 years of service without a recordable injury.
