Pumpkin patch opens at Asbury Church

Carter (right) and Blair Hogue enjoy an afternoon of playtime Monday during the first day of Asbury United Methodist Church’s pumpkin patch in Magnolia. For the second year, the church is providing a place for children to enjoy the fall spirit, as well as help raise funds for a new playground. Gourds are for sale at the patch and range in size, shape, color and price. The patch is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sundays, 1-6 p.m. until Halloween night, Oct. 31. Not pictured is Bailey Hogue.
