Cornelious Dewayne “Pedda” Young, 36, of McNeil passed away Thursday, October 4, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
He was born September 19, 1982 in Camden to Richard Dale Hawthorne and Regina Elisa Young.
He was preceded in death by four grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother Regina Harris and father Richard Hawthorne, a grandmother, brothers Richard Young and Antoine Young of Waldo. Sister SaQuanna Young of Hope, two nieces, two nephews, seven aunts, six uncles, along with a host of friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 14, at 2:30 p.m. at Resurrection Ministries in Magnolia with burial to follow at Smith Cemetery in Waldo under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home of Magnolia.
Visitation is Saturday, noon-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
