A 68-year-old Union County driver died last week following a traffic accident on Hwy. 167 in El Dorado.
Linda M. Robinson of El Dorado was said to be traveling westbound at 12:03 p.m. Friday in a 2005 Hyundai from her driveway toward U.S. Hwy. 167 when she “failed to right-of-way” and pulled into the path of a 2015 Buick Enclave, according to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash report.
The Buick driver was reported as 84-year-old Barbara Monteith of El Dorado.
Weather conditions were stated to be clear and the pavement dry. The Buick driver was injured in the incident, the report said, while Robinson’s injuries were fatal after being airlifted to UAMS Little Rock.
