Members of the 1968 Magnolia Panther state football championship team recently got together to celebrate their 50-year anniversary. The team finished that season with a perfect 13-0 record. Those in attendance were David Couch in front, while others wre (from left) Mike Waters, Claude Wells, Steve Anderson, Denny Burdine, Tim Ford, David Jordan, John Savage, Curtis Tatom,Mark Phillips, James Erwin, Charles Bishop, Randy Couch, Denny Knotts, Bobby McMahen, David Knotts, John Gean and Ken Miller. An unidentified child walked by while the former athletes posed for the picture.
