McQueen Files with Arkansas Secretary of State for U.S. House Seat, Arkansas District 4

United States House of Representatives Candidate Lee McQueen is pleased to announce that she filed with Arkansas’s Secretary of State Office on February 27 to challenge for the important responsibility to represent the 4th Congressional District of Arkansas.

McQueen, an Independent Progressive, intends to run her grassroots-inspired congressional campaign for Arkansas’s 4th District free from corporate money and influence all the way to Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

McQueen registered her candidacy with the FEC on September 28, 2017. She announced publicly on October 2, 2017. Since last Fall, she has traveled and campaigned across District 4, speaking and participating in forums, discussions, and community gatherings. She visited with residents of Texarkana, Hope, Arkadelphia, Magnolia, El Dorado, Pine Bluff, Hot Springs, Camden, plus towns in between, to learn about citizen concerns and citizen requirements from a congressional representative.

Single payer healthcare, free education, and affordable housing; good jobs with living wages; responsible businesses and strong tax base; renewable energy development and infrastructure modernization; safety and security with respect for civil liberties; foreign policy with respect for diplomacy and human rights; integrity and trust in the electoral process; plus active civic engagement are the policies on McQueen’s progressive platform that go “4th to the Future.”
