Willie B. Richardson, 94, of Emerson died February 9, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
He was born June 26, 1923, to Luther and Stella Watkins Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Odessa Richardson; daughters Betty Richardson and Ruby White; sons Walter Richardson and Billy Herman Richardson; sisters Oreada Henderson, Ruby Faulkner, and Eula Mae Pharris; and brothers Mayfield Barns and Spencer Barns.
He is survived by sister Katherine Lewis of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughter Patsy Baker of Emerson; granddaughters Daphne Washington of Ruston, La., Khristie Baker of Little Rock, Audrey White of Dallas, and Shanequa White Taborn; grandson Willie Curtis Baker of Magnolia; great-grandchildren Keenan Washington, Lauren Washington, Edwin Baker, Fareed Harris, Clifton Hardwell, LaCara Baker, and Anna White; and Godson Billy Glenn George.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 17, at 11 a.m. at Pine Hill CME Church in Emerson with Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery. Rev. James Story will officiate under the direction of Marks Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Visitation is Friday, February 16, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Marks Funeral Home.
