Ms. Marilynn J. Stuart-Barnes, 68, of Magnolia, AR, passed away Saturday, December 8, at Courtyard Rehabilitation & Health Center in El Dorado, AR. She was born June 6, 1950 in Emmet, AR to the late Robert Lee Stuart and Margaret Mauldin-Stuart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a sister in law.
She is survived by her husband, Elvis Barnes of Magnolia; her mother in law, Darlene Barnes of Magnolia, sister in laws Glenda Barns of Magnolia and Catherine (Nazaree) Critten of Oklahoma. Pine Hill Church family, god daughters: Camille Dennis and Lenoise Jordan of Magnolia. One aunt, one uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 16, beginning at 3 p.m. at Pine Hill CME Church in Emerson. With burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home of Magnolia, AR. Officiant will be Pastor Michael Story.
Visitation will be held Friday December 14 from 12 - 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
