Congressman Bruce Westerman (left) Wednesday morning speaks with area residents as part of his Coffee with your Congressman event held at the Magnolia-Columbia County chamber of commerce building. In the casual setting, the fourth district federal representative for Arkansas talked and took questions on a broad spectrum of topics ranging from the federal deficit, health care, immigration, social security, the local census, and rural infrastructure. While in Magnolia, the Congressman also visited Anthony Oak Flooring Inc., (formerly Partee Flooring Mill) along N. Vine Street. Westerman, along with congressional incumbents in the first, second and third districts, as well as the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and secretary of state, will in October take part in televised AETN debates versus their November political opponents.
