The Magnolia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will present its annual MAC Pageant at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at the Magnolia Junior High School Auditorium.
Girls from 4-years-old through 12th grade are invited to participate in this cultural event to display their many attributes and talents. The pageant will aid the girls in developing a positive self-image by boosting confidence and self-esteem, according to event organizers.
Delta Sigma Theta is a public service sorority. All pageant proceeds will be used in granting scholarships, providing school supplies for needy students, and donating to Habitat for Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House, the United Negro College Fund, as well as various other humanitarian efforts.
Seven contestants will compete in this year’s pageant in categories of talent, sportswear, dress wear, and the overall crown. They are:
