Glendoshia “Nancy” Henderson, 70, of Magnolia passed away April 14 at her home.
She was born April 19, 1947, in Magnolia to Willie L. Manning and Ruth L. Thomas-Manning.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George L. Henderson; son Douglas E. Henderson; sister Charlotte Manning; and brother Johnny Manning.
Survivors include: son Ricky Henderson of Des Moines, Iowa; daughter Cassandra Henderson of Magnolia; sisters Marilyn Gilbert and Margaret Manning of Magnolia, and Freda Manning of Dallas; brothers Charles Manning and Tezzy Manning of Dallas, Carl Manning of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Jerry Manning of Magnolia; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ in Magnolia with burial to follow in 23rd Psalms Cemetery in Magnolia under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Rev. T.D. Ellis will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday, Noon-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
