Rep. Fielding awards ‘Serving up Solutions’ grant to The Stewpot

LITTLE ROCK - Representative David Fielding has chosen to award his 2017 “Serving up Solutions” grant dollars to The Stewpot at First United Methodist Church of Magnolia. The dedicated work of The Stewpot at First United Methodist Church to relieve hunger in their community makes them fitting recipients of these grant dollars and the gratitude of all Magnolia’s residents.

“The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance thanks Representative Fielding for his dedication to alleviating hunger in his district and throughout the state,” said Kathy Webb, executive director of the Alliance.

“As a member of Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus, I am committed to increasing access to nutritious food for people in my district who are in need. I am grateful to the alliance for being an important partner in this effort,” said Representative Fielding.

Legislators who served at the annual Serving up Solutions fundraising event presented by the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, in cooperation with the Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus, received grant dollars to award hunger agencies in their legislative districts to help them build the capacity of their programs and to be of more service to the hungry Arkansans in their communities.
