Resurrection Ministry, 1511 E. Main, of Magnolia will hold its Sabbath Service at 11:15 a.m. The public is cordially invited.

Columbia District Women’s Ministry will hold its 2nd Annual Youth Fun Day at Southside Park 3-6 p.m. There will be a bouncy house, sack race, face painting, bingo, dunking booth, horses, basketball tournament, and FREE food. The public is invited. For more information, call 870-901-1314.

SUNDAY - Sept. 24

Sickle Cell Awareness month will be observed at St. Phillip AME Church during 11 a.m. morning worship service. Everyone is asked to wear red in support of sickle cell warriors.

New Bethel Baptist Church will hold its Annual Youth Day at 2 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Earnest Moore. Guest church will be Macedonia Baptist Church.

First Baptist Church of Calhoun Heights, pastor Rev. Lacy Miles, will have their Homecoming/Family and Friends Day at 2:30 p.m. Guests will be Rev. Greg Williams and New Hopewell Baptist Church of Bernice, La. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ family will be celebrating their Pastor and Wife’s 34th Anniversary at 3 p.m. The honorees are Superintendent Larry Roach and Missionary Wanda Roach.
